hi Ian,

regarding the a136, a116, use them before the filter module, after the osc's (pretty obvious i know). 
also using waveforms with few harmonics (sine, tri) will reveal more details about how the a136 and a116 add to the original sound. but the a136 is especially good on drums (and full drumloops) too!

regarding the a100controlling the M3x, you have to use the A165 trigger modifier module to convert from the doepfer trigger/gate to the s-trigger that the macbeth m3x wants to see.,

      hi list,



i've been building up a modular over the last few months, to supplement my collection of analogue synths. the modular is based around cwejman and doepfer modules, and i play it via a maq16/3 and/or system 100 (101) synth. i have just taken delivery of this months modules. they are...

a116 - waveform processor

a136 - distortion/waveshaper

a160/161 - clock divider/sequencer.



any patching ideas/tricks from the group?



also, i have a macbeth m3x which i love. it uses cv and s-trig via ¼ inch jacks. what is the easiest way to link this up to the modular? i'd like to trigger it from the modular, and process the results back through the modular.
