> I have a Vermona DRM-1 drum synthesizer, and I would like to know if there is any way to convert gate/trigger signals in the A-100 into MIDI signals to trigger the 8 MIDI notes (one for each instrument on the Vermona).
There are two possibilties.
1.) It should be dead simple to modify the vermona with trigger inputs 
(that is, what I would do).
2.) You might use VC-switches (A-150) which act as keycontacts for a 
CTM64 (http://www.doepfer.de/ctm64.gif). If you are able for simple diy: 
you don't need the A-150, but can uses simple CMOS-switches like CD4016.
