wave sequencing(LFO:s and envelopes & A-151)

2013-01-09 by Peter Sedin

Hello guys! one of my favorite thing to do in my dave smith Evolver is to
assign diffrent modulation tracks with diffrent types of LFO, all assigned
to the same parameter, one cool way to make almoust knobmovement-like
modulation.. another famous example is the start of "we are the robots" by
Kraftwerk, where sounds and modulations comes after one another.
So a easy way to archive this would be a CV controlled Linear mixer with
diffrent LFO:s (for example) routed to each input, but what module will i
need to be able to "spread" one gate signal (or CV signal) to four diffrent
inputs? I have looked at the A-151.. is that the way to go here? but with
that i cant control on to what output it will send to, only the next I/O
and also on A-151, what does the "O/I : Common out / input" mean? if
connecting many A-151 in a row?
Any thoughts on this are very welcomed, also if A-166 can be used and how
it works (in baby steps because my brain hurts reading about it ;)

also if someone have any tip on books on modular, patching & sound design
with it, please tell me :)
