Hi > Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the > Doepfer_a100 group: > > Would you like doepfer to release a > Sequencer with CV for > forward/backward/random? I don't know, who entered this poll without a discussion in the list, but my 2c: I would appreciate this feature of course. But I think a second sequencer module with only a minor change against the A155 is economical nonsense. No producer will do that, and I am sure Doepfer won't do that too. And a second hint. I don't know the exact schematics of the A155, but usually the VC-switch between forward/backward is a very easy thing. Perhaps only an additional input has to be added; perhaps additionally the counter has to be replaced. But both mods are quite easy electronic work, which can be done with material for 5 EUR and everyone who can distinguish the end from the tip of a soldering iron should be able to do this. Adding a random clock is something completely different. It could be realized by a Sample&Hold Module and after that an simple 3Bit or 4Bit AD-Converter. Perhaps this Simple ADC would be an interesting module. If you want both, the assumingly easiest way should be a PIC with an AD-Converter for the selection-CV.
