Which app do you mean Thesys? I tried loads but settled on Genome MIDI, its also good for driving the Vermona DRM1 MKIII I am using.

Yeah I've had a look at the manual, found the explanation of note length quite confusing to be honest. haha.I was wondering then. What features would you say are available on DT but not 16/3?
As far as I'm aware 16/3 doesn't have a 'to scale' option, but I'm guessing it probably has a note display on the LCD? so maybe not necessary.
I've also heard as there is some menu diving it's perhaps not as 'on the fly' in terms of using skips etc. I've heard if you have a few skips it might be hard to quickly get it back. However I see their is a controller app for ipad, which may do this although there doesn't seem to be much information on itRacconboy
