Given that philosophy, I think the clock generator function should be 
removed from the A154. I don't quite see how its different than adding 
an envelope function to this module. I'd argue that its entirely 
tangential to the purpose of the A154, and I'm not convinced that it 
does anything that we can't already do with other existing modules 
either.

If someone can convince me that it does something that I can't 
already do with the A147 or a VCO, then I'd argue that it should be a 
separate module, and have its own discussion on the list regarding 
features.
