I too like the look of a VU meter in my doepfer rack, but instead of buying the AS one I built them myself, all the price of £6.00, yep £6.00!! They are soooo easy to make, takes about 10 minutes, but the cutting and drilling of the aluminuim mount takes a while longer. I made 2 VU meters, one same as ASolutions and one same but with a attenuator built in so I can attenuate the signal and see it..all good fun!!
