Re: AW: [Doepfer_a100] Further info on the forthcoming A100 modules

A voltage controlled version of the A143-2 would be amazing, especially if it had individual linear/expo switches for each of the envelopes and retained the EOA, EOD and EOR outs. In fact a voltage controlled version of the A143-1 would also be good!

The module is planned for polyphonic applications with the same value of
each parameters for all envelopes. The control inputs of all ADSRs are
internally connected. But for DIYers it would be possible to interrupt the
internal connections and use separate CVs for each ADSR. But this would
require additional elements at the front panel so that the advantage of the
small 8 HP panel would be lost. We think of more new ADSRs (like the
A-140-2) and maybe we will also design another Quad VCADSR with such
additional features, e.g. master controls plus individual "variation" inputs
for each single ADSR (but not behind a 8HP panel and at a clearly higher
price). Even a voltage controlled version of the A-143-2 is under
discussion.

Best wishes
