Re: Rear Access

2001-12-19 by duffnuff

hi joe,
i have a similar set-up w many connections on the rear panel
(audio and CV) which need to be connected/disconnected from
the front of other gear (a100, etc).
for me, the best solution is a standard 1/4" patchbay that
permanenty connects to all the rear-jack equipment. this works
really well when inerfacing the a100 now that i picked up a few
extra a181 multiples. it's nice as well for adding compressors,
tube overdrive units, pedals, tape echos, whatever, into various
signal chains, (especially when the other outboard gear is
connected to a patchbay already...just have to watch those
levels). keeps things neat and organized.
