I know, I just don't use my x0xes like that... my 808 has never left pattern write mode while in my posession ;0) I jam a pattern into my DAW software and then if I want a radical changeup I stop recording, make the new pattern, then punch-in. I'd never take my x0xes out live (not that I've played live since about 97 anyway) so this method works. I bought the 606 before I had the 808, and now I simply don't find myself using it. as for triggering a100, I've got a 155, I'll get a second 155 when the 154 is available, and if that's not enough then I could always pick up an analog solutions gt8 for less than the worth of the 606, and certainly cheaper than getting it modded. In other words, I can see your point, but it's simply not valuable to me in the way it might be to some ;0) -Brandon
