Doepfer

I had the exact same thing happen to one of my G6's, and since it was 
faily new, Dieter/Enport replaced it.  I've had no further trouble 
with any power since then.

If you bought it second hand, you'll probably have to but a new one.

The explanation was that it was probably just a dodgy transformer.
