Sorry, don't knwo the module, but I once played a Wasp. This was a real
biting sound;it is the Fender Telecaster within the synthesizers.

lin for audio means, that around 50 percent of the regulation amount are
placed on 10 percent of the potentiometers sliderway.

To my experience most times I only have to mix audio signals at the same
level, so I do not need the logarithmic pots necessarily. The linear mixing
capability for dedicated CV mixing is much more important to me.
