I think this shows the difference between what attracts people and the
difference between how is the peoples access to something.

The one person does not want to run with the crowd and does not like to go
to a fair and the same person likes more experimental or new access to
electronic music gear. 

Another person likes to meet a lot of similar thinking people, so this
person likes a fair very much, and again this other person may be a more
traditional piano orientated musician. 


The result for Doepfer is: They have to obey the desires of both types of
customers. If now there is a device like the TKB there will be always a
group of customers, which complains about the unusablilty of this device.
So the question for the producer is, whether this negative customer
response has a bigger impact on the business than the success at the
perhaps smaller group of customers who like an experimental device like the
TKB.

I would not want to take this decision.
