Hey list, I've been meaning to get a modular synth for some time now and I'm looking at either an A100 or a Wiard. Just a couple of questions. Firstly I've got no idea how much I should expect to pay for one of these. If I gave a brief list of the kind of setup I was after, someone could give me a rough idea of how much I should be looking paying, in GBP? Secondly, whilst I'm not new to synthesizers as a whole but this will be my first properly modular unit, and so any innaccuracies or oversights could please be pointed out? Finally, could someone tell me where I can purchase one from? I'm in Nottingham, England. Right, the kind of system I'd be after would ideally be a 2 VCO unit with a single -24db/oct LPF and perhaps a -18db/oct LPF (I'm told these can do good 303-isms, am I right?), and a VCA, with an ADSR for each. Also I'd like either a CV keyboard controller (if such a thing exists), or if not, a CV-MIDI interface. I'd also be after a decent ringmod, and maybe a delay unit (although I could always buy this seperately.) An LFO would be also be handy for making some mad filter sweeps.... Obviously I'd also need all power supplies, rack adapters etc... Oh, and patch cords obviously ;) Any ideas? Sorry if I've overlooked anything drastically important, rememebr you were a knowledgeless goon once ;) Harry _________________________________________________________________ Use MSN Messenger to send music and pics to your friends http://www.msn.co.uk/messenger
