Not that lucky!

2003-06-09 by Roel Steverink

Hi all,

As promised I keep you updated on the
continuing story of the cases!
Last saterday I got the second replacement case!
(the first one I took with me when I visited
Music House in Utrecht)
I'm relieved to say the new case works perfect.
However and I don't believe this, my first
case which I bought meaby 4 years ago has given
up on me!!!!
I just had the new case in place and wanted to
test modules in it, I couldn't get any sound!
I searched and searched, till I noticed to my
big suprise that the lights in my first case
where off???
I thought, this is not happening I dreaming, but
sadly it was no dream, more a nightmare.
The only thing I could do was demounting the case
from the rack. But then I thought, wait a moment,
the fuse must have blown due to old age!
So with renewed hope I put in another fuse!
It blew very quickly and so did another one as well.
I thought what the hell is wrong with it, I haven't
the faintest idea???
This means I not only have to send one case away,
but even two!!!!
No, I can't say I pleased with this!

I began to wonder about the duration of the cases!
Have any of you experieced like wise problems with
case(s), also after years of proper functioning!
And this case has worked without any problems all
these years!!! You may say I'm a bit worried!

After feeling quite a bit down, I thought, I work
this situation, so I unscrewed as many modules
of my first case and put them in the new one. For 7
was no place, but with the others I work now!
