hello list,

the blacet vca needs a voltage of +10v to open up completely.
since this vca is exponential, the outgoing signal has
low loudness, when driven with a doepfer eg. therefore i
always use a blacet eg to drive the blacet vca.

the mini wave works with voltages from 0v to +10v or
-5v to +5v. doepfer oscillators work well with the mini wave,
but lfo's or eg's need some amplification, if you want to
use the full range of the mini wave. my personal experience
is that nearly every kind of input signal, even very weak ones
with -1v to +1v, can be used with the mini wave. of course
you will get other waveforms as expected, but this can also
be cool. after all the mini wave is one of my all time favorite
modules. if somebody is interested in blacet modules, i would
recommend the mini wave, time machine, eg1 and binary zone.
