i agree w allan 100%.  make it for those of us who do value adventurous new tools.  
as for modules being expensive, i didn't hesitate to throw down for Asys's bode freq 
shifter.  expensive maybe ($800), but compared to a real bode ($$thousands) it's an 
amazing value. i think the same will be true for the vactrol phasor if it's done in the 
spirit suggested so far by doepfer..
