Hi,  I forgot to mention that you could use the separate pulse outs 
to control the amount of stages you wish to have, i.e. 2 to 8 or 16 
stages.

Now since you have a pot and vc of the stage selection, if you mult a 
couple of the pulse outs to the reset in , you should be able to have 
mini switch sequences, theoretically like the Buchla 246 sequencer.

 Obviously you would need a one cell memory to remember the input 
stage, so it can cycle between them, until a new stage is selected 
either by the address pot or the voltage control input. Just an idea  
and a crazy one at that,but hopefully possible.  Mr. Doepfer???
