Doepfer

this looks interesting, and it's not really that expensive. still, now that
they're discontinuing the unit, it's the perfect time for doepfer to come up
with a similar (simpler, smaller, cheaper) module.

or is it completely unrealistic to think that this could be made into a more
or less compact and affordable module?
