Doepfer

Is there any update on the TKB? It seems that the design was never 
really finalized.

I was seriously considering a Serge TKB, that is until Rex Probe 
decided to increase its price to $1,800.00. Ouch.

Maybe this price increase could be an opportunity. Certainly Mr. 
Doepfer could come up with something superior to the Serge TKB, 
which is a 25 year old design. I'd like to see something like a 4X16 
sequencer with touch plates  and the kind of interactive control the 
Serge offers, but also with VC stage selection like in the A-154, a 
couple of trigger busses like the A-155, a VC slew, and maybe other 
goodies I'm not imaginative enough to think up.  And I'm sure he 
could do it for a bit less than $1,800. (I've read that STS stuffs 
boards by hand) Anybody else want to see something like this?
