Doepfer

Very interesting thread. Being able to do physical modelling on a 
modular should be very interesting.  Anybody who doubts this should 
listen to the mp3 examples on the Modcan website.

Breath control is a wonderful thing on a modular.  I have been using 
Yamaha breath controllers for some time to control amplitude, filter 
cutoff, waveform (on Analogue Systems VCOs), etc.  I'm guessing it 
could be even more useful with this "flanger" module.  Does anybody 
know where this kind of control would be inserted in the signal path?

Also, does anybody know if pitch control on a modular karplus-strong 
delay line can be good old 1 volt per octave?  Or will it be more 
complicated than this? (I have tried programming new sounds on my 
Yamaha VL70m and have found that it is very easy to program 
unplayable sounds.)
