- manual control with up/down buttons for running mode selection, 4 votes, 4.76%  
- manual control with up/down buttons, controlled with up/down inputs (each pulse selects the next running mode) for running mode selection, 6 votes, 7.14%  
- voltage controlled running mode selection, 14 votes, 16.67%  
- separate clock inputs for clock forward and clock backward instead of one of the selection modes above, 7 votes, 8.33%
