dieter says: "To keep the target price(of the a149-2) on our web site of 40 Euro we have to start with 100 modules. For this we need about 30~40 pre-orders as we are optimistically that we will sell the remaining 60~70 modules within the next few months. The absolute minimum production lot would be 50 but this would increase the price for the module to about 50 Euro as the initial charges for the pc boards and the front panels are the same and the assembly price is a bit higher for 50 pcs only. In this case about 15~20 pre-orders are necessary but I think this should be no problem. So it is safe to assume the module will come but the price may by a bit higher if we receive less than ~ 25 pre-orders. Regarding the new PSU: +5V will not be available. For this we have a separate +5V supply or the 5V low cost adapter available. Regarding A-100 oscilloscope: I'm sorry but we will not offer an oscilloscope as A-100 module (much too expensive, dangerous voltages, not sufficient know-how in this field ...). Low cost oscilloscopes are available down to ~100 Euro (like the oscilloscope in our A-100 demo setup for fairs, work-shops and so on that fits perfect into the A-100 frame) and I see no necessitiy to offer such a module. Sorry. If customers find a suitable oscilloscope on the market we could ask our manufacturer to produce a front panels with a hole that fits to the oscilloscope front - provided that there are sufficent orders (remember: the initial charges).
