Doepfer

hello everyone,

i'm contemplating picking up one of the last "synapse" units from analogue 
solutions, their digitally controlled analogue patchbay for modular synths 
(they're going out of production).
any commments regarding these would be highly appreciated. i couldn't find 
any info on the web about these, although i read the manual that analogue 
solutions provides on their website.
no prior discussion about them here either, although they're supposed to fit 
in with a doepfer system very well.

does anyone own one?
do they fit in a doepfer flight case?
any comments, tips, criticism whatsoever?
