Although I have no experience with the MAQ, I can say that the A100 is a wonderful instrument and I continue to be happy 
with it's quality, the variety of modules and the deep commitment Doepfer has made to his products and his users.

Also, no live use on my part BUT I wouldn't worry about using it.
