The antennae must be positioned straight up, lest they swing down under their own weight. The problem is in the jack itself. Standard 1/8"/3.5mm isn't snug enough to keep it seated. Are the antennae as effective when they're collapsed? Does anyone else have this problem? What did you do about it?
