Re: A-149- fist impressions

" I believe the SOU had a quad sample/hold output and a noise
source."

There were more differences along with thie noise and the
sample and hold -(which allowed for three different sampling
rates of a single voltage input) - there was an VC integrator
(basically a slew limiter) and two channels of what Buchla
called 'fluctuating random' outputs, which were smooth random
voltages and a trademark Buchla convention. Really really nice.

Dieter has pointed out that this effect is currently achievable with
exsisting Doepfer modules with a patch (basically a S+H of a
100hz noise-modulated triangle wave through a slew) but I
would REALLY like to see this all buttoned up into one module in
the future.

One thing I really appreciate about Dieter is that he takes
requests. If enough people ask for something, it will come. And
that number isn't as big as some would imagine. If something
like 30 poeple speak up, he'll hit the breadboard.

So, guys... care to help me out here?
