Hi Florian,

That agrees with how my thought processes are going. As I plan to upgrade my Mac later this year I will then consider what software I will settle on.

It seems strange to some of my friends that I would prefer to spend hours creating a monophonic sound on my modular rather than select a preset  and change the filter settings on a modern (S&S or VA) workstation or rack module, which is how they do things.

Different things for different people I guess.

Patch cords, real or virtual are just too much fun.

Thats right. I own a Nord Modular since one month. It is really very nice,
and maybe with a Drehbank it would be nicer. But there is nothing compared
a gordian cable knot ;-)

To be honest: Both worlds have their advantages. Polyphone isn't it for the
A-100, tactility not for the Nord.
