Regarding the A-143 synchronized LFOs, one potentially useful feature 
might be the ability to put the waves into quadrature relationship, 
for quad or stereo panning and other situations where you might want 
to drive filters etc. in quadrature (cf. Serge Quadrature Oscillator, 
http://www.scampers.com/EGRES/wiz_osc.htm -- I think Polyfusion made 
a quadrature oscillator too).  

With digital LFOs I have to imagine that wouldn't be that difficult, 
would it?
