Some stuff can be copywrited, and other stuff cant.

If the schematics were availible, then, yes, some ideas may be incorporated
into other peoples designs. Is this reason to withold that information?
How much of the a-100 is allready copied and/or adapted from other peoples
circuits... A-124 anyone?

Hence, i dont think its a very just reason to keep back the schematics of a
product like this. As for the financial implications: if its copywrited
then a direct clone cant be made. If its just ideas, then how much
financial impact is that really going to have?

My 2 pence....

(whose spent the last 2 days building a 12u enclosure, wont be much
different in price to a couple of doepfers 6u cases....)
