not exactly, an additional gain pot would also be fine for me,
it would increase the panel size to 16 te, again no problem for
me. from my point of view cv-attenuators are more important
than gain-pot's, as long as the vca's have unity gain
like the a132, but i guess that depends on the way i usually
use vca's.
