hello john,

yes, but that only got one output.
i want four separate vca's in one module, each one with
it's own output. and it would be great if we could choose
between linear and exponential behaviour.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
