you are right... I shouldn't have said anything, as I have not tried it in
person. I should have not been excited by any of the samples I've heard..
but then again, I haven't been by most of the modulars that I really like
either.  There are so many  ways to use a modular, even one module that
samples don't really help.  I never disliked any of the samples/works I've
heard from a Serge, just never thought it was for me,  but that could be
because I wasn't using it.

I guess over the years I just go the impression that the Serge's strong
points were mostly in it's control/CV potential.
And honestly, I have never looked too in depth at it due to cost somewhat,
but mostly due to the banana plugs... I already deal with 1/4" and 1/8" so,
although I see the benefits of banana plugs I don't think I would really get
the benefits without having several panels of Serge/Modcan/Cyndustires.
...maybe one day.
