This is almost certainly the problem. The manual repeatedly mentions the 'audio' bit, and says the A-135 uses CEM3381 chips: these have a strange internal reference voltage of -2V, which I think basically rules them out for DC use, hence in the A-135 there will be capacitors which block DC from passing through. The A-132 is certainly happy to pass DC, and I assume that the newer type of A-130 (using the CA3080) should be too. Tim
