My system runs of two 12Ah sealed lead acid cells.  Its 40 modules or so
(12u) and runs for hours (i dont know how many - half a day or so)

Two chargers are a good idea if you go this way, as the high Ah batteries
take an age to charge.

Theres an early photo of my setup in the photos section, but its not that
exciting...

There isnt a whole load of difference in the price of the SLA batteries as
you increase Ah (at least to a point), just they get heavier.  Depending on
your situation, if you decide to use the SLA type, you may like to get
larger ones, for future possibilities too?
