From a (very) quick look at Florian's link, there are small 
differences which will affect the filter poles, and hence the filter 
cut-off and so the sound:

All have 4 stages.

A-103 has a single diode at the top of the ladder (this gives less 
gain if I remember right), and the bottom capacitor is half the value 
of the others (this affects the poles/filter slope).

A-102 has 3 diodes at the top of the ladder (gives more gain), and 
again the bottom cap half the others.

System 100 has 2 diodes at the top of the ladder, and has an extra 
cap below the first stage which is a quarter of the other four.
