Doepfer

hello bakis,

yes indeed, but there is a small problem with the blacet
modules. these can often be configured on the pcb to
fit other voltage ranges. for example the blacet eg
can be modified to have +5v output instead of +10v.
these modules are also available as diy-kits, so
you can't print the voltage on the frontpanel,
because you don't know how it will be assembled.

i personally don't need a printing on the front panel,
but i agree that it could be helpful in certain cases.
i guess the problem is that on the korg ms-series you have
lots of space on the front panels, on the a100 you haven't
(thinking of an a132 and similar). imho all the voltage ranges
of all input/output jacks should be mentioned in the manual,
especially when they are not standard -5/+5 volts.

it is interesting to compare the manuals from doepfer and blacet.
blacet manuals have more technical details, because they hold
all instructions for diy-ers too, but they give only little
info about the use of a module (no patch examples).
doepfer holds only few technical details (because it is
only a user manual) and usually gives good examples how
to use the module.
