hello josue,
that's not a good comparison,in my opinion.the guitar
sound is already very complicated when it leaves the
guitar and then it is just distorted by the pedal.
but,the triangle waveform is JUST a triangle
waveform(a rather pure sound)and then it is processed
via a much more complicated device(the a111
expander/complex waveshaper module)before it reaches
our ears.
so,yes,it could be possible that the organic quality
of the sound is caused by the complex
waveshaper,maybe.

also,the analogue systems vco is created by discrete
components but it doesn't sound better than my a111
,to my ears.so,you cannot say for sure that a discrete
vco will sound better than a curtis CEM vco.

that said,i still prefer the buchla 259 complex vco
module solution!why? because i want a competely new
vco module,NOT based on a curtis chip that, sooner or
later, we all know that it will become obsolete.
