the spring reverb is fine, but imho external spring reverbs
are better. you can get the 50/60 hz buzz noise easily when
mounting the spring tank inside the frame, thats why i always
apply filtering to the reverb tail. i don't use the
spring reverb often, maybe i should consider mounting
the spring tank somewhere else. i reach for the roland
spring reverbs more often.
nevertheless the doepfer spring reverb has a dense
reverb tail, because three springs are used.
