doepfer say: "As we finished the small Midi keyboard electronics last week the polyphonic a100 keyboard will be one of the next projects to be finished. I think the next modules will be the A-106 (MS20 filter) and the universal digital converter modules (bit cruncher, bit exchanger, digital waveshaper, digital limiter, general CV voltage converter, e.g. V/oct -> Hz/V and reverse ....). The "problem" for this module is, that you can do a lot of different functions with the same module core (AD -> microcontroller -> DA). We don't know if we should make a separate module for each function or make some modules with similar functions (and similar controls) or a "monster" module with all functions (will require a LC display in any case to know which function is selected). We could even include the clocked delay function by adding the delay memory into this module. As soon as we know all the functions we should start a poll to find out what the group members suggest. I don't think that the TKS and the buchla 259 vco modules will come this year (I'm not sure if the A-106 will come and the first digital converter module. We have some other non A-100 developments that have to be done too (B4M/B4C, redesign of MCV4 and MSY2 and some more)." ===== Bakis Siros Parallel Worlds / Polariton Athens-Greece [Doepfer_a100] group owner http://www.shimarecords.co.uk http://www.ward12.com _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
