Hi Thomas, my opinion: If you have room/funds for only one mixer, get a linear one, as it will do both audio and cv's more easily than a log mixer imo A-109 (I own it); think it's a great piece; sound is excellent and the built-in 2-way mixer & VCA make this a real versatile module A-113 (own it); have not used it that much, as I found it to require quite some experimentation to get a useful sound out of it; I am more easily drawn to oher modules; however I will never sell it; just need more time to fully explore it see this link for some sound examples: http://www.modular-planet.de/synthlead/shanghai/shanghai1024.html A-104 (do not own it); I found the A-127 more versatile in terms of VC might be a nice module though, but takes up quite some rack-space Just my opinion regards Joost --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, garrgal@p... wrote: > Hello! > > I would first like to say thank you to everyone who helped me with > my last post about starting to build a modular system.
