Doepfer

Yeah, but back to the car analogy - take a jeep in for service (oil 
change, fluid check, etc.) and it might cost a couple hundred bucks, 
take a porsche in and it'll cost you three times that. It's especially 
true when it comes down to the cost of parts. I would assume at $19,000 
the parts used in the Buchla system are nothing but exceptional. 
Personally I'd pay a bit more for Doepfer if the parts were upgraded - 
pots, switches, and jacks.
