Many thanks for the swift reply.  I appreciate your consideration of 
my comments.

That would please me very much, although I mention resistors 
and Op Amps only as examples.  I would appreciate if all 
components were shown in idiot-proof detail.

  For me DIY means just this: projects (for laymen or otherwise).  
If the intent is not to show people how they can "Do It 
Themselves"  why isn't this information in the 
Technical/Mechanical Details pages?

  Once I have enough experience, I can make my own design 
decisions; until then, I can learn from the examples you provide.  
Especially if you offer the components on you price list.  Of 
course, the extreme extension of this is to offer Doepfer as kits 
like MOTM and others, and there may be a deliberate policy 
against this.

  I understand that no manufacturer is going to put their entire set 
of designs in the public domain, but I am really looking forward 
to being able to build even incredibly simple modules; and after 
all, they will use up rack space, so I'll need a new G6 case 
sooner. ; )  (That said, I'm glad to see the self-build case online, 
I've already been looking into that myself).
