Hi Florian,

Well, I have experimented quite a lot lately.
As you could read I read Strange book six times.
Major break through was the filtering of noise
with amazing sounds as outcome.
Well then I felt I really getting the hang of it.

That's incredibly cheap. I never ordered anything
via Ebay. I find it a bit too much of a hassle
and more risk then usual. Beside that changes are
reasonably slimm in getting your gear.
Mostly others have the luck.

I saw one an Ensonique at someone's home. I know
the sounds are special, great options and yes it
had an 8 track sequencer! I believe it was the
Esq 1 or Esq 80.
But something these machines don't have are those
many knobs! And that was a must for me.
Four enveloppes and 3 lfo's is impressive. The only
one who can match that is my Prophecy who has
4 lfo's and 4 EG's!

cheers,

Roel

Sounds like a good experience for you.

If one is looking for similar possibilities in a not too expensive, used
synth I can recommend the ensoniq ESQ/SQ series definitely (at ebay ESQ1
around 100EUR!).
Four Envelopes, three LFOS, real satisfying modulation matrix, Hardsync
Crossmod; and not to forget a very good builtin sequencer, which offers
good live playback capabilities (realtime mute for each track in direct
access) and masterkeyboard fuctions!
