Doepfer would benefit from an new high quality discrete VCO of any design. That said, with the new A149, A101, A154, A133, and the proposed A143-1, you have the quivelent of the following buchla modules: A101-2 = Buchla 292 A149-1 = Buchla 265/266 A154 = provides similar fucntions to the Buchla 246 control section A133/A138b = adds bi-polar CV control similar to many buchla CV inputs A143-1 = Buchla 281 Mind you, I realize the Doepfer modules are not exact copies of the Buchla modules. And, I also realize the Doepfer modules offer features not found on the Buchla modules. With all of this, Doepfer will certainly benefit from a high quality VCO. I do like Peter Grenader's suggestion of his model 15 coupled with the A137 wavemultiplier. Also, I like the idea of something new and radical like a through-zero FM oscillator. Anyway, these are the right kind of problems to have, no? Matthew
