RE: [Doepfer_a100] Re: What happened to Doug Wagner?

Shawn Cleary's up and running now as Doepfer's US sales rep:

http://www.abiotic.net/schism/

Here's Shawn's reply to my email inquiry:

... I've been selling gear for about 1.5 years now, all analogue lines,
but I've been kind of discrete about it. The site is a WIP...I'm going
to change the name soon (since its cheesy, I just don't have an ideal
yet) and add some more lines.

Module prices will remain the same as Sonic Highway but I hope to hold
more stock once I get the inventory back together. However prepaid
orders will be discounted at a rate of 10% off for the next 2 weeks
whether they are in-stock or not...and that includes new modules such as
the a-106 Ms-20 filter. I have about 17-18k worth of stock that I
purchased from Doug and I'll place an order through Germany in 2 weeks
or so. Turnaround time is about 4-5 days and 1.5 weeks for the g6
chassis because they need to rewire the power supplies for 110v. Then
add a few days for UPS Air Shipping.

Let me know if you have any questions and feel free to spread the word.
I haven't posted it on any mailing lists/message boards yet because I
just got back from Doug's place about an hour ago, hauled the inventory
in the house and now I need to sort it and get some sleep (its been a
day and a half and 13 hours of driving each way).

-----

Sales seem to be by phone and email only for the time being, which I'm
sure is no hardship at any rate. I was pleased to get such a rapid
response. Shawn looks rarin' to go.
