Ok, but this a good midrange interface like the Kentons, the MCV8 or the EES: it rovides 8 CV-channel plus 8 simple Gate-Outs (no D/As!). When do you really use 8 separate voices? And this is only for simple CV/Gate-Controlling per voice. If you you want Keyboard CV, Velocity, and VCF-CV and Mod-Wheel-as-CV you are reduced to two voices! In the opposite I often use two or three voices only, but a lot(!) of midicontrolled CVs. The Harms provides real 16 CV-Outputs with 16Bit DA. The Doepfer MCV24 has 4 outputs with 16Bit and 20 output (12Bit). I actually think about replacing my Harms by a Doepfer MCV24 because of the count of possible control voltages. I think, the kind of usage determins which interface is the best. The one who is using MIDI only as replacement for a Keyboard or a note-on/off-Sequencer, runs fine with a Expressionist. People, who use MIDI for complex modulations, run better with a Harms, a MCV24 or a A190+A191. Florian
