You have some valid points.

In defence of voltage control (personal opinion here), as a non musician I try and encourage my modular to play it's self. To do this and maintain interest in the soundscapes that evolve, it is essential that I can allow the machine to adjust it's sound over time. Only possible with VC inputs.

I know that most people do not compose in this way some the extent of VC needed is not as much as my own, but I'm always glad to see lots of sockets that wait with anticipation for that delayed envelope signal.

I too prefer more innovation that replication in modules.

Hello....Hans I feel has a valid point, it was only a responce to some of the humour that led from the "VC shortwave radio" string. Yeah voltage control is a wonderful thing but why do you have to have everything in the world voltage controlled? Its getting to the point where that its getting absurd. Alot of wonderful compositions have been done in the past without benefit of "voltage control" So his humour was a little gross but it does in my opinion that emulating other modules from every Tom and Dick synth company is getting a little excessive. Just my two cents worth.
