hello, > Manuals ? Manuals ? - What manuals are these ? > I've bought around six modules so far, and never received any kind > of printed matter with them - never mind an actual MANUAL ! > I had to figure out what to do for myself. All modules now ship with manuals from Germany. They didn't always, and therefore I have a bunch in stock that do not come with manuals. But that is OK because they can be printed off the individual module page in the A-100 section on Doepfer's site (they are PDFs). The manuals come to the USA grouped in a stack. They are seperate from the wrapped module. The intention is to place them together in a binder and "collect" them as you do each module in the series. For instance when you buy a Basic System 2 you may receive a small ringed binder that has manuals for just the modules included...but then as you expand the system you will fill the manual as well. Unfortunately I do not have the backlog of manuals from the old modules. I had 3 binders which I received from Doug Wagner that were near complete but I need one for myself and gave the other 2 away already. Perhaps in the future I can get more, a little bit of each in each shipment from Germany, but I think it'll be too much to get all at once (85+ modules with 10 or more manuals from each?!? it'll take time). But also you may download them at www.doepfer.de . Thanks, Shawn Cleary schism@traumatik.net www.analoguehaven.com
