Probably...but I wouldn't be against fronting some money for a kit. 
I'll think about it in the future. For instance in a couple of 
months I plan to do something similar- prepay for some R2m units but 
behind an A-100 faceplate. Sort of like an A-198b...to have both CV 
and midi versions within the system. The reason is because I have so 
much tabletop stuff that more just gets in the way...the cables too.

That could work...but its *really* noisy...I actually assumed that 
it was broken.
